Reporting in PHP

I would like to make multi-page, grouped or summarized reports in php and then export to pdf/doc. I saw php classes like fpdf that can hand pdf reports. But I need somewhat graphical editor like access or similar to design reports and then merge with data inside php. Doing very complex reports with fpdf is a tedius task. Would be wonderfull find a combination of a design report tool + merge data in php + render to pdf.

Any can help me a little bit!
