On my webpage the user enters a term (which is in table 1), i basically need to get the id of this term, and use this to display the description from table 2 for this id. Table 1: term(id, name, type, term) Table 2: term_ref(term_id, description) Here is the php code ive been using to display info from the same table: $query1="SELECT name FROM term WHERE term = '$term1'"; $result1=mysql_query($query1) or die(mysql_error()); $row1 = mysql_fetch_assoc($result1); I need help change the sql statement so i can use two tables.
