I could not start a new topic over there (don’t know why). My Question: I have used VB6.0 to develop an application to do database (I/O) work on MS Excel file. I am using the OCX which came along with the studio suite. Things are running fine. I want to password protect the Excel file (“to open” password). When I do this, I can’t access the MS Excel file via my VB application. Please help me on how to supply the password via my application so that my application will be able to open and process the data. Thanks a lot.
