Install PHP 5.1.4 on Fedora Core4

I have problem to install PHP version 5.1.4
I use Fedora Core4 which was built in Apache version 2.0.54 and PHP version 5.0.4 . I want to recompile with new PHP version 5.1.4 but I don't know how to do it. I am a beginner of Linux system. Please tell me how can I do to recompile ? I read details from many websites but these details is not clearified for me.
In my first time, I try to use
"./configure --with-apxs2=path/to/apxs " but I don't know where is path to apxs on Fedora core 4 which was built in Apache2.0.54

Please help me !
