Hi there.

I am hopeing someone can help. I am using .htaccess and .htpasswr to protect some files. I have designed a login page with a simple form which integrates well into the website I am designing. The scrips below work really well in all browsers apart from IE7 and IE8, does anyone know a work around I could use? Thank you for your help and time in this matter.

the PHP Code:

?>

<?php

$user=$_REQUEST['user'];

$pass=$_REQUEST['pass'];

header("Location: http://".$user.":".$pass."@www.musite.co.uk/Membership/membership.html");

exit;

?>

The HTML Form Code looks like this:

<form action="http://www.mysite.co.uk/registration/login.php" method="post" id="thisform">

<fieldset>

<p><label for="Username">Username:</label> <input type="text" name="user"></p>

<p><label for="Password">Password:</label> <input type="password" name="pass"></p>

<p><input type="submit" value="Login"></p>

</fieldset>

</form>

</form>
