docjump Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 I'm trying to access images that are contained in a mysql database with PHP, but I continue to get php errors no matter what I try. Here is a snapshot of what I'm trying to do:CasinoImage is the field name for the image I'm trying to access from the mysql database.$ccasinoimage = "CasinoImage";....while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)){ $CasinoImage = $row["$ccasinoimage"]; echo "
" "
; ****** This line yields the following error: "Parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ',' or ';'. "However, a similar statement to access a web address from the same database works just fine:$cwebaddress = "webaddress";...$webad = $row["$cwebaddress"];echo "" .$name. "Web Page"; where "webaddress"is the field name in the database.Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks. Drumminxx Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 try this
echo '

';
note the single quotes. you could also escape the double quotes but I find this easier Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/14546-accessing-an-image-from-a-mysql-database-using-php/#findComment-57740 Share on other sites More sharing options...
