[SOLVED] Add Numbers in PHP

I've currently got a basic php script to format the query, I'm new to php. Here is the script that I have:

$titlea = $_GET['title'];
$titlea= str_replace ("-", " ", $titlea);
$titlea = ucwords($titlea);
$titlea= str_replace (" ", "_", $titlea);
echo($titlea);

This converts the query "php-freaks-is-awesome" to "Php Freaks Is Awesome"

But, If i send it a query, something like "show-search-1" I want it to produce an output of "show-search-2" which is basically +1 to the number in the query, does anybody know how I can do this? I've looked everywhere but I am unable to do this.

Could someone tell me how to do this?

Thanks.

$a = "show-search-1";
$a++;
