themistral
Hi guys, I have no idea if this is even possible so some advice would be appreciated. The outline of what I want to do: use php to find how many photos there are in a folder, then resize them on the fly and create a slideshow. There will be varying numbers of photos in different folders - but there are hundreds of folders and the photos will change regularly so hard-coding is probably out of the question... Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/147893-slideshow-on-the-fly-can-it-be-done/ Share on other sites
ricmetal
yes is it possible to get the folders and images, and you can resize them on the fly (although last time i mention this, ssomeone mentioned back "troubles with the resizing codeand photo quality", although that was many moons ago). just google for each bit of what you wanna do, youll find all your answers google "use php to find how many photos there are in a folder" - thats possible, i just did that a month ago google: "resize script" Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/147893-slideshow-on-the-fly-can-it-be-done/#findComment-778687 Share on other sites
