goscrips
I am so sorry to even bother anyone iwth this, but if I spend any more time trying to figure this out I am going to shoot myself! I am trying to set up a site on a linux shared server. When I upload all the script files, my site says I need to install Zend Optimizer, so I go to the Zend Optimizer site, get the files I need, load them up in my webspace using FileZilla, and go through the install proceedure. It does not work. After some troubleshooting, and much frustration I contact my hosting provider and they send me this message- Thank you for contacting us. We are so sorry for the inconvenience. We have checked here and the php.ini files is missing that is why you cannot edit the changes on it. You need to get a copy of the php.ini for Ioncube or zend. Edit the file and upload it to your webspace. You can use search engines to get the php.ini file. So I go to search for this php.ini file, which I do not even understand what it is and why it wouldn't be part of either the installation of the script, or located on my server as part of the linux package. Can't find the file- how do I make it? Download it? Can I just copy it and put it in notepad and name it php.ini and upload it? Is this it------> [Zend] zend_optimizer.optimization_level=15 zend_extension_manager.optimizer=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-3.3.3 zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer_TS-3.3.3 zend_optimizer.version=3.3.0 zend_extension=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager.so zend_extension_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager_TS.so Where do I put it- I have spent over a wekk trying to figure this out and I am still getting NO WHERE!!!
