This guy doing wholesale with a company so i iframe the companys shopping cart into his site but now i need to find out when someone orders from the shopping cart it shows the orders like any cart would do but also shows it came from his site so he can be credit for it so he can get his 20% from that sale. http://crlinfo/shop/cart.html Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

fry2010 Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 The website that recieves the orders should provide you with information about that, try to find in thier site about 'affiliation'. Theres a couple of ways they can get this 1 is by setting a cookie on user machine but not good if user has cookies disabled or they clear their cookie history and 2 is with sending information with the link such as: .the_site_they_buy_from.com?affiliate='YOU' Or another way I think is if they store the persons ip and your affiliate id in database. I dont actually know if they do this sort of thing tho i just made that last one up, but its a possibility. Look around their site or email them and ask them.
