But I'm stuck for ideas with a certain required function I've been asked for. How do I go about scanning and uploading a directory of files with PHP? or .NET? I assumed it was impossible and have bought an Adobe AIR book but its probably worth getting it checked on here before I start learning a whole other language to do this. PHP Monkeh Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 I think you may need to provide a little more extra information about what you mean. Scanning a local directory? Automatically or do they choose? As PHP can't tackle the local directory you'll need to use something such as JavaScript to get the files locally.
