Need help inserting BLOBs into OracleRDB through PHP 'orardb' plug-in

Does anyone have experience with inserting/viewing BLOB data to/from OracleRDB through the 'orardb' PHP plug-in? There just does not seem to be much information on this or I simply cannot find it. Code samples would be much appreciated but if someone can direct me to the literature I would be happy to read through it. Thanks.
