how to set EXPIRY for HREF Link without using DB

hii alll..

i'm generating an URL with a random key and user name..i'm stroring only KEY in the database. how can i set a time limit say 24 hrs for the above generated URL?

after certain time period, the link should not exist and expire..

how can do that?

put a createdate in the table. Along with Expiration date. When a user pulls up the page if it's later than the expiration don't display it.
