how to extract width and height with ffmpeg ,, using shared server ffmpeg

I am using dreamhost and its shared ffmpeg. I need to get width nad height of flv video  using ffmpeg. I am not sure waht this shared hosting and ffmpeg has connection. I checked the phpinfo and i see no ffmpeg thing. doesn't shared hosting has shared resoures. I don't know if i am describing it correctly or not as well.

What i need to do is to check if ffmepg  is installed and how can i access it. and use to find height and width of hte video file
