rondog
So this works just fine in FF. In IE7 I am getting this error. I can see my content load in the background, when I hit ok it takes me to a page cannot be displayed page. If I comment out: <script type="text/javascript" src="js/moodalbox.js"></script> It doesnt present that error, but that is obviously not an option. Here is my code: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title></title> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/mootools.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/moodalbox.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/swfobject.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> function launchURL(url,caption) { MOOdalBox.open(url,caption,"500 400"); } </script> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/moodalbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <style type="text/css"> body { margin:0px; padding:0px; } </style> </head> <body> <a href="javascript:launchURL('somehtmlfile.html','caption text');" title="Caption: a description of the page that's loading.">some page</a>. </body> </html>
rondog
Anybody please??? I think it has something to do with the DOM not being fully loaded. This is only in IE7. IE6 it works fine.
