[SOLVED] Populating combo box from a table

PC

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I am trying to populate a combo box from an oracle table. I have generated a result set that contains an Id field and a City field. How do I get the contents of the result set into the combo box in such a way that the selected city id is then posted?

Thanks

Paul

<form name=myform>

<select name=mytextarea>

<option name=one value=one> one </option>

<option name=two value=two> two </option>

<option name=three value=three> three </option>

</select>

</form>

Loop through your results in place of the <option> tags
