Selecting Prohibiting Echoeing

Why wont the $price get echoed like i want it to when I select it?

Whats price ? here

 

you should have used $price in your query if its being collect from another form.

 

also when collecting values from a form you need to use the $_POST or $_GET. Enusre that you are collecting the value.

this is just from the database. Price is an integer value.
