[SOLVED] Trouble with an if statement dealing with file upload.

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to implement an item that will allow me to add support for all image files, but it seems to be hesitant and I can't figure out why.

Here is the if statement:

if(strpos(((string)$_FILES['pork']['type']),"image"))
{
//stuff
}

I tested this outside of the if statement, and it returned as 0. If I use it in the if statement, it returns as false.  It seems to mess up somewhere.

But I haven't the foggiest.

Help, please?

From the php manual for the function you are using -

Warning

This function may return Boolean FALSE, but may also return a non-Boolean value which evaluates to FALSE, such as 0 or "". Please read the section on Booleans for more information. Use the === operator for testing the return value of this function.
