That means users are no more required to have a location in the search query for local-like keywords. It will show you the results in the local box at the top Google confirms this change as: In most cases, we match your IP address to a broad geographical location. SuperBlue Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 Google is becoming to creative with its suggestions, now it wont even work to search for: "string string" Since Google tend to disregard the quotes, and return more irrelevant results, with no reference to string at all. It is also a problem that google shows more local results, because that means more irrelevant results. There is a good reason I'm using google.com rather then google.dk, but even the .com version tend to mess to much with my results, i often get a few more or less useless danish sites due to the "userfriendliness" google tries to feed their users with.
