Stephen68
Hello all! I am doing a site for a company and they have a server they put their site on already. This server does not have phpMyAdmin set up on it and they do not allow me SSH. So what I was thinking on doing what installing phpMyAdmin into a directory and doing my DB stuff that way. What I was wondering is if this is OK to do? Can you install phpMyAdmin into a directory with out causing problems for the server? Thanks for your help guys Stephen Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/156100-phpmyadmin-help/ Share on other sites
rhodesa
that shouldn't be a problem does the MySQL server allow remote connections? if so, you can try installing a app on your computer and connecting remotely: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/156100-phpmyadmin-help/#findComment-821954 Share on other sites
