StefanRSA Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 I have a textbox where people sometimes enter sentences with "" and ''... This come from a textbox. I want to enter this into my DB with the following code: mysql_query("INSERT INTO term (id, t_reg_no, cn_person, cn_number, terms, added) VALUES ('', '$reg', '$cn_person', '$cn_number', '$terms', NOW());"); $terms is the textbox, but if someone is using "" and '' in the same string, it breaks my code???? I was thinking that it might be because of magic_quotes_gpc settings in my php.ini but my server magic_quotes_gpc is on?! What am I misssing or how can i get around this problem????
