milesap
I'm trying to write an SQL statement for my PHP code. It looks like this: $query = 'SELECT * FROM USERS WHERE COUNTRY=US AND ZIP=12345'; Now I also want to add something to this SQL so that it only selects users that are either 20, 25, or 30 years old. How could I modify this SQL statement to reflect such a requirement, if possible. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! mikesta707
This could be completely wrong, but maybe this would work $query = "SELECT * FROM USERS WHERE COUNTRY=US AND ZIP=12345 AND (Age=20 OR Age=25 OR Age=30 that might work... but then again my SQL syntax could be way off. But at least this is something to the effect of what you want Hope that helps Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/156354-mysql-help/#findComment-823210 Share on other sites
Ken2k7
mikesta707, your SQL and PHP are incomplete. $query = "SELECT * FROM `USERS` WHERE `COUNTRY`='US' AND `ZIP`='12345' AND `AGE` IN (20, 25, 30);"; Would that work?
