Vellor Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 Hello, I'm about to do a pretty easy script.. I think ???. Well i have Searched around in this forum and on the Friendly Google site. Well i would like somebody to help me fix this script. Well i want a Script that takes information from a site and then takes a line we say a "Part" of that Text And then it writes it in the site, Like 'encho' it. Well in my case it would be from like a "Character" from this site: http://www.tibia.com/community/?subtopic=characters&name=Nazy the Lazy. And when it connect to that site it Takes the "Level" and then writes that to my site. I'm sorry that I'm not so good at English. So Please, Help me with this.. Its would be really usefull for my site. And Yeah, I'm kind of trying to learn.. But if its a scrapper, Is that a part of a PHP Scripting? And if you did understand my post and know how to do i would really like to have your help. Ken2k7 Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 Life isn't easy. You're not going to understand something by looking at it, especially something you don't know in a programming language. You'll have to get your hands dirty and mess around with it. Don't expect to understand cURL in 1 day either. I don't even know everything there is to know about cURL. If you want someone to write this for you, post in the PHP Freelancing forum.
