I'm trying to change the format of a php url using mod_rewrite, but it seems as if my .htaccess file isn't working.. So I went into the http.conf file to to make sure AllowOverride was set to 'all' for this specific directory, it wasn't. So I changed that and still my .htaccess file doesn't work (it's not a content problem, just it won't work at all). So I tried changing the name of the httpd.conf file to make sure that's where my server was getting the configuration settings from. But even after I changed it my server worked the same. So I'm guessing my server is using a different configuration file. I need to know where the configuration file is defined so I can see what it is so I can change the appropriate settings in there.
