When email title is clicked or opened, it should, instead, open a URL

Hi all,

 

A client has a pdf document which he wants to open automatically when a mail reciever tries to open the email.

 

The solution, I think is that I would upload the pdf document to his server (for instance www.clientSite.com/doc.pdf ) and somehow make the email redirect to www.clientSite.com/doc.pdf  which will thus open or download the uploaded pdf document

 

I am using Joomla 1.5.10 and would prefer to use a joomla newsletter module called vemod (or something better, if any) for the purpose of sending malis.

 

Any ideas in this regard?

nope can't be done for security reasons.

 

imagine if email providers allowed that. that would be terrible.
