PHP mail code on IIS Server to send to external mail server

Hi,

 

I am trying to send emails to an external mail server. The website resides on an IIS server.

 

Is there something I need to change inside the ini_set so that emails will go directly to the external mail server?

 

ini_set("SMTP","mail.domain.com");
ini_set("sendmail_from", "[email protected]");

You can do it the way you are doing via the individual page or if you want all PHP sites on the server to sent through the same SMTP server you would adjust the following values in your php.ini

 

; For Win32 only.

SMTP = mail.domain.com

smtp_port = 25

 

; For Win32 only.

sendmail_from = [email protected]
