Question - is there any way you can post the contents of the email? You can strip out the URL if you want.

I am not sure what good that would do because it just says:

 

Author : "the author"

Message :

 

Obviously this is because the message is blank

No I meant the email you said that contains the URL to the topic.

I am not sure why you would need that. The post that I had before is where it sets the links. The problem I am having is that there are 2 functions. The first function is where the message text is used. The second function is where I need to display it in the message. The first function brings it in by reference. Can you figure out a way for me to put the value from the first function into another variable so that I can use it in the second function. Here is an example:

{
$data['message'];
$my_data = $data['message'];
}

function second_function()
{
//this is where I need to use it

I need the original email message so I know where in the files we're talking about. I mean there are many kinds of emails out of phpBB3. I'm at a lost of which one we're talking about.
