[SOLVED] Simple Parse Error causing headache

Hey everyone,

    I felt like i was pretty proficient with PHP but I haven't been able to get passed this stupid error i am getting and it's killing me.  I only have 1 page im initially working on and i can't figure this out;

 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/...index.php on line 38

The posted code does not produce any syntax error. Either you have some non printing characters as part of that line, the error is caused by something prior to the posted code, or the file or the line number is wrong.

Can you post the code for the entire page?

PFMaBiSmAd may be onto something... try pasting the code into a new txt file and then save it over your old php file.

hey everyone it was an error in an include file i had at the top of the page.  sorry for the late response but thank you for your help
