I think I'm being very stupid because I've done this set up before and it worked I am runing Apache 2.2.11 and php5.2.9-2 on windows XP.

Apache is working and php runs as a CLI.

In my httpd.conf I have

LoadModule php5_module "C:/server/php/php5apache2_2.dll"
PHPIniDir "C:/server/php/"
AddType application/x-http-php .php

but Apache seems not to be running php if I point the browser at http://localhost/phpinfo.php where phpinfo.php contains

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

the browser offers to download phpinfo.php as a file.

Where am I going wrong please?

Adam
