rv20
I know what tidy does, not really sure what purifier does though it says it's a filter in the docs although i couldn't get i working. After a read of purifier i still don't really know what purifier does different to tidy. Does purfier do what tidy does and more if so is it better or worse do they both just do different things? Will i be fine with tidy? thanks for any help. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/158684-html-tidy-vs-html-purifier/ Share on other sites
Ken2k7
Tidy should be fine. For some reason, Purifier rejects <A> name attribute. :-\ I haven't tested it fully with Purifier. I don't use either Tidy nor Purifier. I just write xHTML. Just learn it. It's not hard.
