Upload Using Ajax - Via IFRAME - Response?

Hi

 

Iv done some upload code for AJAX using an IFRAME. Is there any way for this IFRAME to report back to the main browser that called the script just like a normal ajax call uses responseText. I know i can display a message with echo in the IFRAME, but thats not what i want to do, i want to effect the calling browser window after the upload is done
