Vinze
Hey, I'm trying to implement trackback and it has been very troublesome up to now. Anyway, I finally managed to send a trackback ping on my local host, but sending it still a problem. Now I don't have my local host available, so I tried to find a free host. Up till now I've tried Awardspace and Lycos Tripod, but they both seem to block fsockopen(). My question is: why? Ifa
You should as that from your your hosts, but I'm guessing somekind of a security thing... Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/16089-why-is-fsockopen-blocked/#findComment-66303 Share on other sites
Vinze
Yeah I guessed it had to do with a security risk, but what risk? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/16089-why-is-fsockopen-blocked/#findComment-66305 Share on other sites
Ifa
That's what you should ask from your host. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/16089-why-is-fsockopen-blocked/#findComment-66310 Share on other sites
