Scholtzz
Hi all I am a newbie to cakePHP and need some help I am using the $belongsto association variable in my User module, and $scaffold in my controller. User Module class User extends AppModel { var $name = 'User'; var $belongsTo = array ( 'Town' => array( 'className' => 'Town', 'conditions'=> '', 'order'=> '', 'foreignKey'=>'town_id' ), When I run /users/add in the browser, I get this Error message: 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'towns` AS `Town` WHERE 1 = 1' at line 1 and this is the sql query: SELECT `Town`.`id`, Town`. FROM `towns` AS `Town` WHERE 1 = 1 All my other $belongsTo associations are working, except this one... I have dropped the table and recreated it, changed the table name from cities to towns, but I still get the same error over and over... please help Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/161650-solved-cakephp-belongsto-sql-error-with-scaffolding-need-help/ Share on other sites
