hem Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 hi all, i'm learning php now. i use xampp 1.7.0 with phpdesigner ide. but my problem is when i create a class and define a construct with new construct syntax as per php5, the compiler doesnt seem to recognise it. instead if i use the old php 4 style syntax then the compiler is able to recognise it perfectly. i have set my ide to use the xampp settings. can anybody plz tell me how to enable the php 5 version. thank u.... What version php version shows up when you run: phpinfo(); Or do you mean that red lines are showing up in your ide?
