HTML 5

i have recently read about html 5 but i couldn`t find if it was implemented to the browsers doesn't anyone know's ?

The first draft of HTML 5 has been implemented in most browsers, if I remember correctly. Wiki on HTML5 may be an interesting read, and this page When Can I Use... details features you can use/will be able to use HTML5, CSS3 and more on IE, FF, Safari, Chrome and Opera.

So, as soon as a Web browser claims to support HTML 5, it is required to treat all content served as text/html (which means all HTML and nearly all XHTML) as HTML 5.

 

It answers the question on compatibility one way but not the other - but if im reading that right will that mean any tags in your html that are now defunct will not work in browsers that support html5? hmm

hmm i understand i wasn't sure if it's correct  what i've heard that some stuff from html 5 are implemented in new versions of safara ff opera.. since i`ve started to build a form class i wanted to build it directly for html 5 when it will be full implemented i won`t have trouble in using it corectly .

 

and what you have heard about old tags could cause a problem for all websites :-? i think.
