I am in the process of developing a media player that users can vote for the songs to be added on the playlist. I'm still fairly new to PHP, MYSQL, and AJAX but if someone can help point me in the right direction I can handle reading and figuring out all of the coding. To get a little more detailed I want to let users vote for there song it be added to the playlist and depending on the votes the song is played numerous times, for ex. the top song will be played once every hour. If it were somehow possible i would like the playlist to be saved on the server as a media player playlist so i can simply download it then set the music to play. This is not a cry for someone to figure it out then post all the code for everything, it's just an idea and would like your views, ideas, or support in the direction i should go with it. Also in case you were wandering i am doing a website for a local night club that a friend is the owner of and they are wanting to automate the DJing process but they thought this would be a good way to get traffic to the website and allow the crowd to choose there selection of music.
