verdrm
Question: I have removed the PHP extension from my files, so they can be accessed as website.com/about The problem is I do not want users being able to access website.com/about.php Does the rewrite redirect users back to /about? It doesn't for me. Can someone post the code for doing that properly? My second question is regarding custom file extensions. I cannot seem to get this to work. Firefox tries to open the custom extension as a file instead of a PHP document. Any suggestions? jordanwb
My second question is regarding custom file extensions. I cannot seem to get this to work. Firefox tries to open the custom extension as a file instead of a PHP document. That's because Apache doesn't know enough to get PHP to execute that file. As far is Apache is concerned, it's a plain text file.
