twilitegxa
I have a script that allows the admin to ban and unban ips. The ban ip script works, but the unban script is supposed to generate a list of ips that are banned to select from to unban them, but it is not showing any pf the ips in the select list. Can anyone help me with this? Here is the script for the unban: <?php include "connect.php"; if(isset($_POST['submit'])) { $ipselects=$_POST['ipselects']; $unban="Delete from ipbans where ipid='$ipselects'"; mysql_query($unban) or die("Could not unban"); print "IP Unbanned."; } else { print "<form action='unbanip.php' method='post'>"; $getips="SELECT * from ipbans"; $getips2=mysql_query($getips) or die("Could not get IPS"); print "<select name='ipselects'>"; while($getips3=mysql_fetch_array($getips2)) { print "<option value='$getips3[ipid]'>$getips3[iP]</option>"; } print "</select><br>"; print "<input type='submit' name='submit' value='submit'></form>"; } ?> The fields in the ipbans table are id and ipid. 9three
Whats the output look like? Does it show empty options? Check your syntax, in your code it shows ipid and IP, But you're saying the columns are id and ipid. Change your variables to {$getips3[ipid]} and {$getips3[iP]}
twilitegxa
I'm sorry. I typed the fields wrong. They are ip and ipid. Aren;t my variables as you stated? print "<option value='$getips3[ipid]'>$getips3[iP]</option>"; The select pulldown list is empty.
twilitegxa
I fixed it. I changed that line to: print "<option value='$getips3[ipid]'>$getips3[ip]</option>"; lowercase ip instead of uppercase and that fixed it. Thanks for pointing out for me!
