[SOLVED] Submit button css

I have been trying out everything to make all of my submit buttons have a background.

I tried:

input.submit{
background: url(green.gif) no-repeat;
background-position:top left;
border-color:#cccccc;
border-width:1px;
border-style:solid;
}

input,submit{
background: url(green.gif) no-repeat;
background-position:top left;
border-color:#cccccc;
border-width:1px;
border-style:solid;
}

submit{
background: url(green.gif) no-repeat;
background-position:top left;
border-color:#cccccc;
border-width:1px;
border-style:solid;
}

 

None work except for one, but it also makes my textboxs have that css.

Is there a way to add css to the submit buttons with using a class?

Your options are to add a class to all the elements, use JavaScript, or wait for CSS3 support
