DapHan
Greetings everybody!I'm really new to PHP and I really want to learn. I see that it's somewhat similar to c++. My question is, could i preview the work I'm doing on my computer before I upload the finished project to my web host? I downloaded PHP, MySQL and even Apache but still can't get it to work. Help anyone??? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/16700-a-little-help-please/ Share on other sites
ronverdonk
I advise you first to read documentation about installing and using Apache, PHP and MySql. A starting point could be "How to Get the Killer Trio Apache, PHP, and MySQL Up and Running" at linkhttp://www.wowwebdesigns.com/power_guides/killer_trio_intro.php Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/16700-a-little-help-please/#findComment-70167 Share on other sites
wildteen88
Yes its possible to run your PHP scripts locally. And you have downloaded the correct pieces of software. To install have a read of this guideIf you ahve any problems please post back. Also make sure you have downloade the zipped bineries version of PHP and not the PHP Installer version.
