Read ID3 tags on remote MP3 files

Hi there,

 

I'm looking for a code snippet or class that will read MP3 files on a remote server and give me the ID3 tag information stored therein.

 

I've looked at getID3 but it must copy the remote files to the local server before it can do this.  Since my files are 30mb+ this is going to cause an unacceptable overhead.

 

Any ideas?
