PFMaBiSmAd Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 One of the conditions for getting the garbage collection to operate on each session_start() is that both session.gc_probability and session.gc_divisor must be set to one. You stated your server administrator said they were both set to one. You posted information that indicates that session.gc_divisor is not set to one. So, no they are not both set to 1. Therefore, the condition necessary to get garbage collection to operate on each session_start() statement has not been met.
