smQQkin
I am trying to learn PHP and getting the following error "Parse error: parse error in C:\wamp\www\Sams\addfive2.php on line 11" The code I am using comes from "Sams Teach Yourself PHP". Any ideas? <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type" /> <title>Untitled 1</title> </head> <body> <?php funtion addFive(&$num) { $num += 5; } $orignum = 10; addFive($orignum); echo $orignum; ?> </body> </html> Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/168072-solved-parse-error/ Share on other sites
