[SOLVED] Adding PHP

Hello everyone, love these forums...

Okay so the project I'm working on deals with me working with PHP for the first time.

Here it goes

This is the PHP code

                    <?php

                              $host = 'localhost'; // Hostname of MySQL server

                              $dbUser = ' :P :P :P :P :P'; // Username for MySQL

                              $dbPass = ' :P :P :P :P :P'; // Password for user

                              $dbName = ' :P :P :P :P :P'; // Database name

                      if (!$dbConn = mysql_connect($host, $dbUser, $dbPass)) {

                              die('Could not connect to server');

                      }

                      if (!mysql_select_db($dbName, $dbConn)) {

                              die('Could not select database');

                      }

                      $query = "SELECT product_name, product_quantity FROM transaction_detail WHERE product_name='the_title();'";

                      $result = mysql_query($query) or die(mysql_error());

                      while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result, MYSQL_ASSOC)) {

                              echo "Name : {$row['product_name']} <br>".

                                      "Quantity : {$row['product_quantity']} <br>";

                      }

                      mysql_close($dbConn);

                      ?>

This is the output

Items Sold: Name : Transparent Toaster

Quantity : 1

Name : Transparent Toaster

Quantity : 5

This is my desired output

Items Sold: Name: Transparent Toaster

Quantity: 6

What am I doing wrong? Can one of you help me? Thanks
