Hi,

I'm having a little problem with some of my scripts.

At random (it seems) I'll get one of these error messages:

Call to undefined function (null)()

or

Call to undefined function èø0À¯5rce()

or

Cannot access property started with '\0'

and then apache crashes.

The error messages always point to the same line/file:

if(is_resource($this->fp))

However, I belive the problem is something totaly unrelated to this line/file

at one point when i got this error, I found 2 (it seems to me totoally unrelated) "fixes". one was cloning a return value befor returning it:

$airbag = clone $ret;
return $ret;

I'm assuming this is because a bug in php.

Does anyone have any sugestions on how I can find what is causing this?

It's the same in both 5.2.8 and 5.2.10
