KnottyAlder
I have been hunting around for some eCommerce software that I can use in an upcoming business venture, but the nature of the business is so unique that I cannot find what I am looking for. The business will not offer any tangible products, merely services purchased by the user which I must keep track of. I am growing frustrated searching for an open-source solution that will allow me to make the required customizations, and I think I may have to design my own. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Perhaps you know of a solution that I have not been able to find. Has anyone had any experience designing an eCommerce site and could point me in the right direction? I am at a lost about where to begin. Thank you for your help! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/171093-custom-ecommerce-software/ Share on other sites
Aeolus
Why couldn't you consider the "services" as products, and go from there? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/171093-custom-ecommerce-software/#findComment-902298 Share on other sites
KnottyAlder
I have thought about doing that, but each service needs to be connected to a specific employee and a specific time (which changes depending on the time zone of the user), and I cannot find anything that will work. My actual site would be fairly simple, but I do not down how to securely program the backend of the shopping cart and link into to Authorize.net.
