playaz
Hi guys, Im trying to help out a friend with one of his sites that uses Google Translator to translate text from English to other languages. It works fine in the most recent browsers, however has some strange issues with Internet Explorer 6. When I visit the page it loads the Google Translation box as expected, however if I try to click one of the links at the top of the page it then doesn't show the Google Translator box until I manually refresh the page (or press F5 on the keyboard) - can anyone suggest why this would be happening and if so of a potential fix? This is the site - http://www.broadlandsands.co.uk Thanks in advance,
haku
Trust me - don't do it. Machine translators are horrible. It's gibberish. Human translation requires a human element. The best you will do with a machine translation is something that *may*, if you are lucky, give a very, very, very rough idea of what is trying to be said. If you don't speak another language to be able to test, you can do this simple test to see how accurate the translator is. Take a piece of text, and use the translator to translate it into another language, then use the same translator to translate it back. I've never seen a translator that came up with anything even remotely close to the original text.
