Sorting Array Contents By Last Modified

I have a script which reads a specified directory's jpgs. It then simply sorts them and prints them. I've searched high and low with no great answer that works but I wanted to add onto this by having the date modified included in the array when it's made so I can sort them by that and then print them like that.

 

Not sure if the that reads and assigns the dates needs to write the results in another array that will be the one to be printed or what!?!?!
