Jakebert
I have a small problem and was wondering if anyone could see an easier way to the solution: I have a php site that generates comments for people with accounts. Let's say someone wanted to save a comment (but not on their computer) and come back to it later. Would I create a table for each person in the MySql DB and store the comments in there? Or can someone think of a faster/easier way? Thanks! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/173489-need-some-advice/ Share on other sites
Simon Mayer
Would I create a table for each person in the MySql DB and store the comments in there? I would just have one table, for example called `stored_comments`. You would need fields for `stored_comment_id`, `comment_id` and `user_id` You would then filter the relevant rows by doing "SELECT * FROM `stored_comments` WHERE `user_id` = 'YOU USER ID NUMBER HERE' " Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/173489-need-some-advice/#findComment-914558 Share on other sites
