mrjap1
I am trying to develop Dynamic Web pages with PHP, Drupal, Joomla and Word Press. I've installed MAMP on my MAC. In MAMP preferences I've changed the APACHE PORT to 80 and the MySQL PORT to 3306. My document root is currently "/Users/Macman/Sites " My Start page url is " /MAMP/ " also Web sharing is turned off. In MAMP The lights on for the APACHE SERVER is red. The lights on The MYSQL SERVER is green. I need BOTH the APACHE & MYSQL SERVER lights in MAMP to be green. How can i get the APACHE SERVER working properly so I can do my web development? Is there something I can change in my Apache? I want to use clean urls as I develop dynamic web pages. http://localhost/php_sandbox/open.php http://localhost/joomla/installation/index.php http://localhost/drupal/install.php?profile=default http://localhost/wordpress/ I have Snow Leopard as my Operating System. I just installed the new MAMP 1.8.1. I have no idea what I am doing wrong? thx -J Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/173576-mamp-and-apache-server-issue-help-please/ Share on other sites
